My name is Zeeshan Shaikh and based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I would like to buy a house through mortgage but I do not find any Islamic bank here in New Zealand. Is it permissible in Islam to buy a house through a mortgage from the bank where an Islamic bank is not available?
