I am a 27 years old girl living in city. I started a relationship since 2 years with a boy who was studying with me. Now i want to marry him. He sent his marriage proposal to my parents also through his relative. But my parents denied this proposal as he is from a village and from a low caste. In our society here caste system is seen at the time of marriage of children. So i told my mother that i want to marry this guy, but she denied. Now i dont know what to do. Because that boy says me that he loves me n how i denied his proposal on this so called caste system which doesnot prevail in islam. Now i want to know,that what should i do? Should i do as my parents do? Or should i marry the boy? As the boy loves me truely by heart. Please help.
